Adamstown has developed a reputation as the "Antiques Capital" of the United States.
Since the 1960's, antique dealers and collectors have congregated at this small town
just off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 286 in northeastern Lancaster County
just south of Reading, PA.

Numerous antique co-ops, showcase shops, and specialty houses
can be found in the "Adamstown Antique Mile" along PA Route 272.
